The Scoop loves to scream about ice cream.  However, life is really about celebrating our blessings and having an attitude of gratitude.

 

Thus, The Scoop has created The Scoop Ordinary Hero of The Month Award, so we can scoop and honor those Ordinary People who are Doing Extraordinary Things. We are in hopes that you and your families can help by spreading the details about the contest, submitting inspiring and touching nominations, and celebrating and honoring the chosen recipients.

 

DETAILS For The Contest

Have you ever been touched so deeply by someone that it actually changed your life? Is there someone that may not realize they make a difference yet they touch many souls. This could be a neighbor, relative, colleague, school mate, roommate, coach, or anyone that has had a positive impact in your life, our community, or even the world.

 

The Scoop in Zionsville, IN will choose an ordinary hero from our customers nominations every month. There will be a box located at the store so you can drop off a short or long answer as to why your person deserves to be chosen. If your nomination was not selected in the month it was entered, it will be candidates in the future months!

 

There are no rules as to whom you can nominate. They may even be a lost loved one. Your imaginations are the only limit to this contest!

 

You may also email your nominations to Elizabeth@TheScoopMainStreet.com. Of course, we would love a picture but this is not a requirement.

 

The Designated Ordinary Hero Will Receive:

Their favorite favorite ice cream flavor named after them for the month

10% of proceeds for that ice cream flavor will go to their favorite charity

The nomination short answer will be featured at The Scoop for all those to enjoy

The Scoop Ordinary Hero Award Wall will display all monthly winners
